  1. AI will enslave us even more than computers do now. Happy about that? No? What are you going to do about it?

  2. I got laid off in the start of the pandemic from wm this is not a company anyone should feel safe working for..

  3. "I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you."

  4. What makes it easier for Walmart makes it Harder for Customers.

  5. I work at Walmart and vizpicking isn't always accurate

  6. Workers gone, prices will rise, Waltons get richer. Way to go, 1%

  7. I want jobs to be manufactured to be Made in America.

  8. Anything a retailer can do to cut costs they will do . I work in retail and cutting the labor is number one . Less people means more money for the CEO and shareholders.

  9. Um.. It means there will be less of them😅

  10. There are other shops

  11. Will the robots allow STEALING too?

  12. It will mean they will put products on the shelf where Siri tells them to.

  13. That's not correct when he said they are making it more difficult to transition from one job to another in Walmart. I have friends who worked there as well as I. If anything, minimum wage jobs have changed greatly in the last decade. It used to be you only do what your job description was. Now they want you as a cashier to be the electrician, plumber, maintenance, loader, unloader, and do other job titles that are not yours. Walmart had my friend fix an electrical problem in electrics by splicing and taping wires from an outlet as well as wrench on a leaky toilet. Its not just Walmart but all minimum wage jobs have become like this.

  14. Okay, now maybe they can work on Reorganizing the chaos of how they display their products.

  15. They said that they're hiring AI to watch the cameras so that Walmart will fix their theft problem 😂😂😂😂 No real s*** that's probably what's going down…….

  16. The wealthy and corporations don't understand that if people don't have jobs they won't be able to spendit on their stuff, robots will not buy things

  17. UBI, Universal Basic Income, is coming. Get right with Christ 👀

  18. Can u imagine… Some of us are still here to see the beginning of "The Terminator"start to play out. Still waiting on "Aliens"… officially.

  19. The manager said that turnover is better than 2 years ago. Two years we were in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic. Hard to compare today to then. But i cannimagine AI helps.

  20. Why is that reporter standing there with his legs all spread so weird and unnatural.

  21. Half of Walmart’s staff are rude and have no home training in manners. The other half of Walmart’s staff is the nicest well mannered people in the world.

  22. YOUR ONLY REPLACING WORKERS FOR SECURITY. YOU ARE MAKING IT EASIER FOR THE THUGS.

  23. Stop letting these managers/CEOs get off easy just saying "no no this will just help make our workers more productive". B. S. We all know this is gonna displace workers! Businesses wouldn't do it if it didn't save them money. You don't save money by merely using a new machine or system, you save money by not having to pay employees for as much work!
This new level of AI automation has proven capitalism is on course for collapse, if we don't change something quick!

  24. I don't think they know what AI is…

  25. They need and AI thieves! Lol. Bet they won't. More employees get hurt from ppl trying to steal than anything. Let the crazies fight a robot.

  26. Workers will be replaced. Already less checkers at many stores.

  27. At my walmart there is rarely more than two cashiers & often only one. Soon they'll have us customers stocking their shelves for them too.

  28. Well at least you could always be a door greeter. I can't see AI replacing that, unless Walmart decides that greeting customers is no longer necessary.

  29. Wal-Mart KILLS small, charming mom and pop businesses. I would NEVER go there!! (or those god-awful Dollar stores). Wal-Mat DOESNT CARE about their workers!!! …..they’ll cut their “associates” number in HALF. Too bad the workers there aren’t SMART enough to realize this. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤔🤔🤔

  30. Next are AI powered robots to unload the trucks and stock the stockrooms and store sales floor.

Walmart will probably lay tons of people off "due to necessary cost cutting measures" or wait for them to quit when the AI scheduler only schedules them to work less than 10 hours a week…. or not at all.

  31. The correspondent is hot.

  32. Let me ask you this… CLEARS THROAT If there are no Associates, how does this AI stuff deal with forgetting to scan a few items at the SCO's? Asking for pretty much everyone.

  33. AI is going to replace alot of workers

  34. Walmart is also an employee cutting machine

  35. America does not have enough workers and as baby boomers age out of the system, and millennials work as much as they can, Gen-z are just lazy and want good money but fail to preform for that wage and Gen-x are just now coming into the work force, America will continue to see a declining work force, and one last mention here men between the ages of 22 to 44 have all but dropped out of the work force putting more pressure into changing the way business operates. Thanks

  36. All this AI talks, and still require manual laboring to actually take out the pallets, boxes, take out the products and restock/backstock. All those manual laboring will not be replaced anytime.

  37. Sounds like the workers just need to be more tech savvy. The job becomes less physical and more mental. Good.

  38. Hopefully the get rid of all the workers and just have robots. Future is here baby

  39. Technology is making people stupid.

  40. And then… it worked so good, we didn’t need the people!!
