So now California is arresting people because they MIGHT commit a crime, and letting people go free when they DO commit crimes. Who can say what this guy was or was not planning to do, but having double standards like this is worse than mass shootings. It is illegal to arrest people for what you THINK they MIGHT do.
Sure, people are going to say that he broke the law with “illegal” weapons. You know the laws in California on guns are unconstitutional and it’s just a matter of time before the SCOTUS rules that way. In fact, this man’s case may be the one that does exactly that.
