Outrage is growing over the deadly shooting of 13-year-old Karon Blake in Washington, D.C., where police are saying the shooter told officials the teen was tampering with cars on his block. NBC’s Yamiche Alcindor reports on how the community has been calling for an arrest and for authorities to reveal the identity of the shooter.

Its a sick twisted society that defends crime and demands victims be jailed.
It’s crazy how the community came all out to support the teen criminal, but yet when he was alive, nothing. Not even the teens mother or father were there.
I wish these people had this same energy when the 13yo was alive.

If it’s on camera showing the boy attempting to steal. It’s justified. We have this same problem where I’m at and yes you will be killed and some have been running away after the attempt. No jail time cause it’s on camera and yes they are teens 16 15 18. Blame the parent cause your child is not taught correctly. Can’t pass blame for lack of parenting. Finger prints on all the cars. Justified

The community only came out in force when they assumed it was a white person. Now that they know it's a black person that shot him they won't care anymore .. Another black kid shot in the neighborhood by a black person. Business as usual..Sad sad .

I am sorry but listening to that community is really annoying. Not one of them says that they have to do better bringing up their youth, not one of them condemned the little criminal, not one of them asked the parents why they did not do a better job. NOT ONE. They are calling for the police, they wanted the shooter to call the police BUT at the same time these people are the ones that shout the loudest to defund the police. I watched a few vid of different shootings of youngsters whom committed crimes and none of the said community condemned the criminal activity. STOP COMITTING CRIMES, STEALING, LOOTING, BREAKS-INS than your chances to get shot drastically drops.
