Sorry for the loss of life. Why didn't mom report her son may be unstable and he had guns???!?! Could have saved the cops life. BIG MISTAKE. My God this dude couldn't sell his boat or GUNS (which are worth a pretty penny sold legally of course) and move out of his mommy's house?
