Video captures the moment a DHL cargo plane lost control and split in half on a runway in Costa Rica. Shortly after takeoff, pilots reported problems with the plane’s hydraulic system and returned back to Juan Santamaria International Airport for an emergency landing.

gracias a Dios q los cuido y muy buen trabajo a todos y a los pilotos
Great and accurate camera work…not.
Urgent America and NATO say that Russia is the reason😂😂
The captain and the copilot were at odds if what to do.
Slewing the plane around was a split second decision.
The hard-to-find comma covalently grease because internet equally program than a amusing gallon. gifted, sparkling development
Why plane didnt turn left, where was flat tarmak, but turn in the left in trench.
Now I know what DHL stands for. Doing Hard Landings.
It did not "split in half": the rear section broke away but I suppose that sounds a bit boring… Main thing is no lives lost
Wow, they were minutes away from death. Had this had happened like 2 or 3 minutes earlier while they were still in the air, many people could've died. What a job from the Pilot, his handling saved lives 👍
It’s impressive to see such a big plane power slide around like that. I would have guessed that the landing gear would collapse once it got sideways.
Like an ice skating plane. Thank God the crew is okay 🙏🏼❤️
美奇萊主線都看不到
Couldn’t imagine how hot it would be wearing firefighting gear in Costa Rica!
No anti-skid, no thrust reversers and seemingly high landing speed. Perhaps not simply a mechanical malfunction.
not sure about this experts analysis. clearly the pilots stood on the brakes then steered her into a ditch. not the best pilots IMO. Ever hear of thrust reversers?
There goes your Ali "Express" order!
And we are planning on going to Mars….🤑😷🤧
And in other news, DHL raises its prices due to Covid…
All that matters is no one was hurt.
Ow my god jhet exshidend
The F-35 …. the Boeing 737 Max …. and now this happens …. they don't make airplanes like they used to …..
This was boeing too? their luck is just bad since they tried to cover up the crashes. bad Karma
Interview with the decisive pilots. Thank me later. https://youtu.be/dQpnEk5TiJ0
I think they did a good job under the conditions, I couldn't imagine the stress they were going through at that moment. its easy to look back and say you could have done xyz. but, I still want my package by Monday.
Just kidding, glad everyone was ok.
Don’t like how the guy says “runway”
360! Boom!
Shoutout to the pilots, that was quick thinking.
Click bait the plane did not split in half 🙄
everyone is looking at that plane and hoping there packages are ok
Lets do some more upkeep and maintenance on those planes folks!
Get on it! Pay the expense to do it, you're rich enough. May have to put that vacation to Tahiti off for a bit.
I would have be surprised if there wasn't structural damage. That looked like a pretty rough ride.
Santa Madre
It split in two….but not split in half. Glad it wasn't worse
Someone needs to learn their fractions because that definitely isn't half. More accurate Title "DHL cargo plane's tail breaks off after emergency landing"but I guess that won't get as many clicks, lol
Thank God it wasn't a passenger commercial plane
"…the plane wasn't designed to handle that kind of shock"
Who would've thought?
VERY EXCITING TIME THAT DAY🖒
NOBODY HURT AND ALL THAT DRAMA EVEN BETTER 💪
It's all Russia's fault!
The plane is ready for the junkyard it's not worth nothing
Wow!
