This is a hot ass mess….now I have watched both the Netflix and the HBO documentaries and never not one time did those friends say that AM called Paul Paul Paul in fact everyone that knew them stated that Buster was both AM’s and Mag’s favorite child and the housekeeper that they killed practically raised Paul…. It’s obvious AM’s attorney ( which is what he is supposed to do) advised him to say these compelling things about Paul and Maggie so it comes across and appears to the jury as if AM was this loving and doting husband and father so there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY he would kill these two people and AM is on this witness stand comparing Paul Paul almost to Mother Teresa and the people out in here these low country streets said Paul was hell on wheels ( more like Dennis the Menace) since he came out of the womb
Why do he and his lawyer drone on and on about where he parked at his moms home that night? Bc they have nothing else BUT useless info to spin into the jury's heads, that's why. Has nothing whatsoever to do with the murders, but OK, let's do 30 minutes of boring, useless testimony about the place he parked at his mom's house. Alex Murdaugh hunted his entire life. Whoever shot Maggie and Paul, was not. Reconstructionist evidenced paths bullets followed, and confirmed shooter was a shorter person(s).

Re: number of steps on IPhone. Does phone count swaying as a step? Defendant is often in motion and might have been taking steps back and forth, left to right but also moved his body in swaying and twisting, moving arms up and down. Man has a large body that might cause the phone to miscount steps?

Kinda feel for him… I think he’s just an addict not a killer. And addiction makes u say n do dumb shyt. Makes me mad how everyone loved him spoke highly of him until.. I think the prosecution is doing a very poor job. I haven't seen enough evidence that would convince me to convict him.

I'm not convinced either way, just because you are a thief doesn't mean you would blow your sons head off …there is reasonable doubt to me due to there is no weapon, no blood, timeline isn't exact etc. But I wouldn't say I'm 100% sure he didn't do it or did.

Yes! He nods when he says he didn't kill.his family that's super obvious and it's known as a tell, that his body cannot lie about what he did.
in my opinion, he just lost the trial (not that he shouldn't loose this trial!) in one sentence when he said he was at the kennels…him saying he was there at 8:44pm gives absolutely ZERO doubt that he was there minutes before the murders. his ONLY defense now is, "I didn't do it because I loved them" and how many witnesses can get up there and say "he loved Paul and Maggie" like come on. Every family member who has killed family loved them at some point! Before he admitted to this, there was AT LEAST a shred of doubt that could have arose in ONE jurors mind about his voice on that video…now, he's done! I mean, most of us agree he's guilty but I still thought the defense was doing a decent job at putting holes in the prosecutions theory and I wasn't 100% convinced yet that he'd actually be convicted. Now I am.
When he starts talking about substance abuse, and getting so sick, he is extremely sympathetic. If he stops with the fake cry, he is really convincing actually.
This whole family was so unstable they did not know how to live, only thing they had was money and its almost like they tried to cheat their way through life for 3 generations now because somebody 5 generations ago worked hard and built something for them.
