Very young Princesses, Elizabeth and her sister could have claimed "bone spurs" to avoid military servives during the 2nd World War, but they did not, and even the king would ask the military personels treat them as British citizens and soldiers. Their humble senses of civic duty to serve country are very admirable and respectable!
