The Intuitive Machines’ Nova-C-class lunar lander launched Feb. 15. It is expected to land on the Moon’s South Pole region, near a lunar feature known as Malapert A. The lunar lander is part of NASA’s Artemis campaign, which aims to send people back to the moon for the first time in more than 50 years starting in 2026.
