How about…. a real solution. Like if you have a small space (like 12x18ish) for a small greenhouse, you can construct one for $150 and then have a means to grow and ongoing supply of fresh produce. Tomatoes, peppers, beans, lettuce, etc. can all be grown year round in most all areas of the US – if you have a simple greenhouse. Just think if 50% of the people in the US had this. It would basically alleviate the problem. But do we hear our so-called "leaders" suggest this? No! Why? Because they want us to be DEPENDENT. Why? Because it gives them POWER and CONTROL. Is this really good for the Iowa farmer? Not so much perhaps but maybe it is as they can export for big $$$ – but for the American citizen in general? YES!!!
We all know the government is MAKING this shortage, on purpose, to keep us under their thumb. Our country has the food, just won't let it be delivered

Support your local small farmers and ranchers. Most don't rely on commercial fertilizer, so they won't be affected. Other farms that have relied on commercial fertilizer can switch to cover cropping, and no til drilling to improve soil health and sequester carbon. The healthier the soil the less you need fertilizer, and the lower the cost to grow.
