I’d rather have this government shut down rather than operating. McCarthy should pass only funding bills for poll tested agencies and programs Americans really care about and nothing else. When the press comes calling, he could direct them to the Senate to find out why the programs aren’t funded. McCarthy should also spotlight all the fraud, waste and abuse. Dems would eventually panic and rush to make a deal. DO IT or else I will never give another damned dime.

Let the government shutdown take place but pay the military. Don't pay the lawmakers. Close the border and cut off public assistance which will force people to go to work instead of rewarding them for playing the system. Maybe then they will understand what it's like to be taxed while big government does nothing for hard-working citizens.
Remember ukraine will still get money if the government is shut down because our politicians hate us
