Guys, I'm russian and I can tell you that most of our people are shocked by this war. Putin is autocrate, he isn't supported by the most of russians, we haven't choosen him and his corrupted ellites. We are actively participating in protests against the war, more than 7000 russians have been prisoned right now because of these protests. We grieve about ukrainian people as much as you do, they are our brother nation and most of us takes this war as sacriligious. Most of us have relatives in this country, for us it's a huge tragedy. However, european countries discriminate not only Putin and his ellite, they discriminate all of our people like we really want ukrainians to die and to be captured. It's best for you to learn Russian yourselves and go check out some Russian comment sections. I did yesterday and was shocked with their mantra. Their minds are stuck in the 1940s, it's beyond tragic. They pull the 'Nazi' card against all their (perceived) enemies, see them selves as saviors of the world, WW2 Eastern Front history is falsified to such an extent reading it seems like a fairy tale about the battle of good and evil, they are in complete denial of Stalins crimes against humanity (even though his death toll dwarfs Hitler by a very wide margin). Post 1953 USSR was better than Russia of today, at least they had the 'secret speech'. National myth was created from WW2 and it is poured into all pores of society; anything is possible as long as it is justified with WW2. They even carry that stupid black-orange ribbon everywhere, even though it has nothing to do with the Bolshevik Army of the period. Mixing up Russian Orthodox Church iconography with anti-Christ Bolshevik symbolism is a normal sight in Russia. Serbs are also very keen on copying their 'Nazi' card for discrediting adversaries and are generally in a similar state of sheer madness. Anyway, it seems these people are out for blood and grim times await us.

At the beginning, I was neutral in this war, not talking much about it. However, I have to support Russia because of the USA. All this started with the USSR's collapse. When it collapsed in 1991, Russia and USA had an agreement to let Russia keep their influence over the post soviet countries. In 1980, when Iraq went to war against Iran for 8 straight years, the US financed Iraq's military as Russia financed Iran's military. However, after helping Iraq in 1980, what did the US do in 2003? They invaded a growing Iraq which they helped 23 years ago. Why did the US do so? Because their government was aware that Iraq has lots of oil which the US can get without getting militarily damaged while Iraq was suffering. Other ways to think that is why do you think that the US have amazing relations with Saudi Arabia and Israel? Because of the oil presence. After, on March 29, 2004, the US allowed Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Slovakia and Slovenia into NATO all of these countries were former soviet states under russian control. So, what does Russia feel about that? frustrated obviously because the US did not respect the agreement. As US claimed that it was preventing an iranian attack, Putin did not think so. In 2001, when the Afghan war started, who do you think that trained those Talibans? It is the USA, who later financed the Afghan government to defeat the Talibans in October 2021. As for the present war, all we see is Russia bombarding Ukraine and killing people and why we only see the wrong side of Russia in Canada or Europe? Because Canada is a Commonwealth country which leader is the United Kingdom. And who is the UK's closest ally? It's the USA. So obviously, footages that we see on Canadian, British and Indian broadcasts are in favor of the US because these channels are fully or partially financed by the country's government. As a result, what reporters say on these channels must be in favor of the government. And we know the BEEF between US and Russia. As for the air strikes killing people, Putin said that he did not want to hurt civilians. As a proof, after the second meeting at the belarusian border, Russia and Ukraine agreed to create safe ways for civilians to get out of Ukraine which the majority did not. Additionally, when we see footages of Russian air strikes, who knows why are these people there and most importantly, who are they? They could be prisoners that president Zelensky released. Therefore, they could be bad people with records. On that, we don't know a thing because the broadcasts will not show that to us in favor of the US. We all know that president Zelensky released prisoners to help. But, how are you sure that they will help? They are criminals with records and you let them out just like that? As for the reason why I'm supporting Russia is because if Putin loses, than Ukraine will join NATO. As a result, the US can install whatever they want in Kiev. Therefore, Ukraine would get its revenge on Moscow by bombing it. So if Russia dissolves like Germany in 1945 and the USSR in 1991, than what will president Biden's next target? It will be China for sure. The US will then gather forces and encourage South Korea, Japan and Taiwan to go all out against China, Iran, North Korea and Iraq. If that ends up happening, China (my birth country) would probably be doomed and no longer exist and I don't want that to happen. So as much as I hate communism, I have to protect my country and for the sake of it, I have to support Russia.
