Classic case of alien abduction?, possibly a mental health crisis, but would be difficult to have the wherewithal to disappear without a trace. If she wanted to leave or disappear, she is an adult, and has the right to and she doesn't need anyone's permission to do that. Since there has been so little details thus far and neither her nor the family is saying much about it leads me to believe there will never be a complete story with all the answers.
