What the MAGA folks don’t understand is that Biden is very good at this negotiation stuff. The agreement suspends the debt limit for 2 years, spending will remain flat, SNAP work requirements went up to age 54 (vets, homeless, the disabled and others are exempted) but will sunset after 5 years, Republicans get an approved pipeline deal for the state of West Virginia and Virginia, small discretionary cuts to domestic law enforcement, forest management, and scientific research, claws back $30 billion in unspent COVID money, and military spending will increase to $886 billion for 2024 and $895 billion for 2025 (which is what Biden proposed in his budget). Republicans didn’t really get anything out of it. No cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, and all of Biden’s legislative and administrative accomplishments are safe from the deal.

if i was the president, i would completely get rid of ALL the nuclear weapons,medical and power only, completely openly 100 percent non nuclear,anybody that wants to can come and verify anything they want to see in person…then i would completely get rid of the entire military and convert it to ASDF american self defence force…have 50 a10's,50 cobras or 25 cobras and 25 apaches,and however many UH1's they need for troop transport..and everything else gone no fighter jets anymore nothing..all the navy ships gone..coast guard only for patrol up to the line…50 abrams tanks and however many ground vehicles they need only…there would be ground to air for planes that come inside…america would no longer go outside the borders again…only self defence inside the borders…there would be national guard that the states fund themselves…this would probably elliminate 90 percent of the defence budget and america would actually be SAFER than it is now..NASA is gone completely also,if private companies want to go into space at their own expense they are welcome to but no taxpayer money. youre welcome america😁
Actually, there is no debt ceiling as this bill suspends it until 2025. Let the money printing begin, and now with a turbo charger!!! The hard part will be financing this pig of a debt deal. No way the federal government will sell this debt, which sources say will be at least $4 trillion in new spending. So, the Fed will be forced to monetize it. Count on much bigger inflation coming soon.

Only concerned about 10yr. US gotta sell hundreds of $billions of treasuries in next 3 months to raise cash. Short term money will buy some but if they want to sell long term treasuries, that yield has to go up. If 10yr goes up then Corporate Bonds drop in market value, which lowers market values of bond funds and effects solvency of retirement funds.
