Putin basically have self-isolated himself if war crime charges have been filed in the International Criminal Court at the Hague. He can still visit sights in Russia or other countries in his small orbit like China, Belarus, and former Soviet states still friendly to his dictatorship. Diplomatically, as head of state he can not be arrested while visiting the Western country; they will just not invite him to visit their country.
