This doesn't mean anything. Most of the recalls were from Democrats because the progressive wing of their party has gone a little too insane preferring homicidal maniac rights over the law abiding citizen rights. Republicans ultimately have little sway in SF because the place is still extremely progressive regardless of this result. The people who voted to recall were mostly minorities, but the people of SF who voted to keep Boudin were mostly white progressives who live in entrenched, woke rich neighborhoods and are disconnected from reality of crime since they have private security.
Boudin is gone. Now if only Biden could also be gone!
I recently took a university course called The Law and Society with a self proclaimed Marxist professor. The textbook was unbelievable; it outright said that “victimless crimes” like gambling, recreational drug use and possession, prostitution, and traffic violations should not be prosecuted and of course this is what the new progressive DA’s are doing. It was obvious the textbook was written by a socialist/communist. I was a much older student so I could discern the agenda contained in the book. By the end of the course, the other young impressionable students were hooked and they were talking about how wonderful Karl Marx’s ideas were..
