Ray Dalio is also pretty keen. I’m reading his “Big Debt Crisis”, and so far it’s good! I don’t agree with his assertions on The Fed being needed. He states that it’s really hard to truly understand economics and properly correct course based off what happens in the economy. And that’s exactly why we should’ve never had a Federal Reserve! It’s literally impossible to understand the global economy in its entirety and then make the right predictions in advance! Everything is always delayed. Paul Volcker was the most intelligent, and he couldn’t get things right initially. He always lagged.
Milton Friedman, would have been unable to do any better, and he’s among the top three to five economists to ever walk the planet.
It’s just impossible for a group of people to fly the economy in the right direction. The market needs to do what it does through natural market forces.
And then that’s not even accounting for Russia and China’s timing on wars and currency decisions. They picked the right time to do the things they have done in 2022. Think about that for a day or two…
The mistakes of the Federal Reserve were enormously responsible for the Depression in the late 1920s! Their egos prevent them from learning anything, so we're well on our way to repeating the mistakes of the past! Only this time, the idiots in Washington are not on our side! I am an Afghan American and left Afghanistan during the Russian invasion in Afghanistan ,here is my question if someone can answer ? when Russia was occupying Afghanistan all girls school was open and there was no suicide bombing in Afghanistan !! After USA created the Northern alliance (from afghan people) to fight Russia , USA supported them 100% with weapons money and etc. then after Russia left Afghanistan USA lost interest in Afghanistan and left Afghanistan alone for Taliban ! After 911 USA went back to Afghanistan fought Taliban for 20 years then USA-made peace deal with Taliban and brought back Taliban in power. Now Taliban removed all woman’s from society and closed girl schools,killed many innocent people , Taliban does not want educated woman in Afghanistan Smart educated woman will raise a smart child The son of smart Woman will not become suicide bombers ,radical extremists .people around the world must wake up and solve this issue in Afghanistan . I am screaming on top of my lungs that where is justice?
