I'm age 71. I lived through the recession of 2008-2012. My husband was driving an hour each way to work (in good weather.) That took $450.00 a month right off the top of his income. It was tough on a one income family. I did go out and find two part time jobs (there were no jobs in our rural area.) All I could find was a 20 hour a week $10.00 an hour job managing a lawyers/developer's business and ran a self-storage business. That was about $250.00 every two weeks. We had to earn $10.000 within three years for a county flood drain assessment-times were very tough then as well.
It means I won't be spending money on places paying 16 dollars an hour that used to pay 11. Way to go on that "living wage thing". I would rather have stability in the economy. Democrat morons.
