  1. Fact is teams knew how England would play. They came up plans and also been more aggressive against them and England seemed to have no plan b other then play an old style 50 over brand which hasnt worked. Add to that the collective bad form hasn t helped.

  2. One thing nobody is talking about regarding Eng..
The 2015 to 2019 turnaround.. was all in SENA nations.. If you look at that teams Subcontinent record between 2015 to now.. it never improved…

  3. Seems like England was doing formality in this world cup

  4. I just added one line all of you ( specially who criticism Indian cricket in the ICC TROPHY specially knock out matches last 10 years drought) eventually they kindly read the statistics data after India win the world cup 2011 ,2015 ( lost only semifinal match) 2019 ( lost only two matches – against England in the group matches and NZ against Semifinal)..
    But look at England……

  5. I agree with the transition point

But not picking Jofra Archer and Jason Roy also cost them

And although they (current squad) are naturally good, they don't have that understanding of the pitches which may have created some difference because I am seeing even the captain is out of form and not even a single player is scoring 50+ i.e.not even one😠.

They are playing poorer than the Netherlands.

They should cancel the rest of the matches.

And come back, learn new things
    and come with fresh minds

    Who all agree?

  6. First team to out of the tournament…

  7. A lot happened, many of them mirrored SA of 2019:
    -ageing side
    -transition(Plunkett, Morgan missing)
    -untimely injuries
    -lack of games
    -fatigue
    -neglecting domestic competition
    -form
    -doesn’t play with each other
    -records in India
    -selection blunder

  8. I think Jofra archer was a huge impact in them winning the 2019 world cup also friendly pitch and smaller dimensions of ground

  9. Preparation have not been good for England they were playing very less odi international prior to this world

  10. Remove Root, induct Brook. He plays better in Indian pitches. How about Jason Roy

  11. Harmisson
    England is ageing side.
Players had already reached their peak in 2019.
Englishmen play all formats and too much of cricket.

    Eng
    Buttler 33
    Bairstow 33
    Mo Ali 33
    Ben stokes 32

    India
    Kohli 35 years
    Rohit 37 running

    Aus
    David warner 37
    Marsh 32
    Steve Smith 33

And they are playing all formats + lengthy IPL and winning matches consistently. Englishmen are not mentally strong and struggle in conditions outside England. Period!!

  13. Actually Kumar dharmasena was not umpiring in this match, unless England would have won this match like they did in final match of WC 2019πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  14. Wth is Moody going on about Moeen Ali’s selection in the Ashes? Firstly, he ended up being very valuable in the ashes, bowled and batted well. Secondly, we are talking about the World Cup here !

  15. England came into this World Cup high on confidence and low on strategy, preparation and planning. So the pathetic excuse is that England is the only test odi and t20 playing nation. WoW. Tell that to English cricket fans.

  16. England have been outplayed by most of the teams in this tournament. India shouldn't get carried away although they register an emphatic win tonight…

  17. England took a "Dads Army" squad to the World Cup in which too many have traded off past one day 50 over glories.

They went in to the World Cup undercooked (and it shows).

They also have had no idea what their best side is for the available conditions

  18. One of the poorest performances by defending champions

  19. England looked like they didn't want to be there, seemed like they didn't care any more
