You need courageous and match winner players who can play and build inning under pressure and in bowling who can keep tight line and length if better failed to score enough runs, and below are the players who can do good in such conditions,
Dhavan, Sanju, Tripathi, Hooda, Karthik, Sundar, Arshdeep, P Krishna, Chahal.
Rohit, VK, Bumraha are by default choice.
India lacks a great third pacer…likes of pak,nz,aus SA have 3 fixed pacers….which will help them in aus…we went to wc with shami…with only ipl stats..and 7 international t20s…t20 is not about skills…it's about variations…u vart pace line and length…batsman keeps on thinking…..

Akash Chopra nearly speaks good but what Varun And Rahul C are not even in top 10 spinners in India.
Are you mad or what, looking at just last IPL Rahul Chahar had better IPL than Ravi Bishnoi, he is top 5 IPL as indian Spinner. If we had past 3 yr performance we can clearly say Rahul chahar is 2nd best Spinner in IPL and undoubtedly 2nd best leggie after Yuzi, if yuzi is injured he is better to replace also he can throw bat unlike Ravi Bishnoi, Murgan Ashwin. Also Bishnoi showed spark for a year but in this IPL people worked him out and literally bashed him. He can't bowl defensive same problem with Kuldeep, he can take wickets but when he gets pasting he gets a lot of it, he can't come back like Rahul Chahar or ACE like yuzi.
Example: Rahul Chahar 29 runs in 1 over then 13 in rest 3 with wickets against MI. He may not be in top 5 but not in top 10 are you kidding me. He is 2nd best leggie we have

This should be India's lineup. And Jadeja should be the backup 6th bowler here, not Pandya. Pandya should be bowling 3-4 overs. Because India needs a seam bowling all-rounder. Jadeja's bowling is just insurance. He is in the team, just because he is Jadeja. He can win you games when needed just by being in the ground, no matter what he does.

Replacing washington with ashwin is a stupidity washington at this young age is not been able to maintain his fitness even a bit while ashwin is playing continously , after kuldeep & chahal ashwin is the one indian spinner who have impressed the most
If Jadeja is unfit ashwin can come as a replacement at no.7 with harshal patel batting at 8
