I will continue using periods. It indicates the end of a thought. Will GenZ object to the "Stop Codons" in the genetic code?

Xennial and English teacher here. A period IS SUPPOSED to mean the end. It's supposed to be abrupt. It signifies the end of a thought, and the anticipation of the next sentence.
For those who say Gen Z isn't soft, here's your proof that it is. Give me a paper without a period, I'm taking off points. Full stop.

We live in a clown world. Period.
This may well be the stupidest thing that I've heard in a very long time. It's not personal, it's just grammar. To my mind not using proper grammar and punctuation shows disrespect toward the person that you're communicating with so don't try this in a work environment.
