The family of Eric Richins, the man allegedly murdered by his wife-turned children’s book author, is speaking out. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin has more details on the case including what Eric’s autopsy revealed.

What if…the house they lived on was built over an ancient native american burial ground and a demon spirit infested her body and forced her to switch the life insurance policy to her name, poison her husband and write a children's book about it….that would at least help maintain my sanity.

I wonder if she wrote the childrens book after seeing her own kids grieving over their Dad's death, and feeling guilty over what she did to them. So she wrote a book for them, to subconsciously make up for it.
Obviously it doesnt make up for anything. And going on talk shows to promote the book… that's pretty shameless. But it's just odd for her to take that route. I feel like it came out of guilt for her kids.

Refunds for everyone who bought the book! Narcissism at its finest here. Narcs are incapable of loving anyone other than themselves. They can easily plan your death, make you feel like you're God's greatest creation, murder you or have you murdered, conjure up tears at your funeral & write a book about pain they've NEVER FELT! Her poor husband saw all the signs but had no language for it. Something always feels "off" with these people but you MUST pay attention to the red flags, they're there! I've encountered 4 in my lifetime & every single one of them had the same characteristics. I can spot them in a crowd or by being in their presence for 5 mins. Glad he changed his beneficiary, but had he told her he did or she discovered it, he'd likely still be alive. He's no good to her dead without a policy. She would've worked on him until she got him to change it back, so I suppose he would have ended up dead, regardless. I hope she rots behind bars‼️ Now these poor children suffer for her selfishness🤬😡

Its so sad that so many people get stuck in abusive situations because of the love they have for their children. Be very careful who you have kids with. Know them for at least 5 years first and if they ever act shady or manipulative or disrespectful cut ties, even if it hurts. Life is too short to waste on someone who truly doesnt care about anyone. Im telling you as someone who has been in 2 abusive relationships that you cannot let it slide. Your life is more important than a sociopaths feelings
This is such a sad and bizarre story. I’m curious to know what her reaction was – and what actions she took if any – when she found out that the husband changed his insurance policy without telling her and that the murder was in vain?
To write a book while you’re a murderer? This is pure evil.
