Why is everybody overreacting. Don't take his oscar. That is that and this is this. Do it the Hollywood way. Chris Rock should host a roast of Will Smith and comedians can slap him back the way they do, passive aggressively with jokes, and everybody moves on.
If the Oscars were professional none of this would have "never" happened. They are responsible for it all and both of these actors should sue them. As having been a promoter in the past there's no way that I would just leave what was being said on stage in the wind for someone to abusively insult a female or anyone especially someone with a medical condition. I think people are looking at this all wrong. Although this couple has problems this comedian shouldn't have been making bad jokes sure he didn't deserve to get slapped for it but the Oscar committee and those putting together the Oscars should have previewed Rocks jokes and approved of them. The fact that they can discipline actors is bogus totally because who are they? Obviously they are people who don't check their program and entertainers and make sure that it's not inappropriate. None of this would have happened if the Oscar governor's committees people putting on the Oscars were protecting their audience from vulgar jokes. I think society has moved past things like a roasts and abusive things you know calling names racial slurs I think we're away from that hopefully moving into a more evolved existence. This joke belongs on the stage of some backwoods third world country not at the Oscars and it should have been monitored and disapproved. If I were any of the parties involved including the audience I would sue and blame the Oscars. It is not professional for a production to be loose leave put together like this.

The Hollywood Academy bans Will Smith from participating in all his acts for 10 years. In 2003 they sent Harrison Ford to France to give Polanski the Oscar, because if the director entered the US, he would be arrested for having drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl.
The fact still remains, Jada is or was a Hard-Core drug dealer and still has those connections!!! And having a little hair loss is NOT A DISEASE or CANCER and is NOT something a person SUFFERS FROM. Just another Hollywood Boo-Who moment. That's the worst excuse I've ever heard someone use. Ever! Take a good look around that room and see how many other women/men have the same issue. NOW, who he should have slapped, was Jada (if that's even her real name). JADA should be BANNED from the Oscars FOR LIFE! Willard Smith is trying hard to love someone who doesn't love him and is in some evil way destroying him. All she loves is the lifestyle and drama.
Meanwhile, we have an ex-president who incited an insurrection in order to prevent the peaceful transition of power and who is still allowed to run again in 2024. Now that is a slap in the face of all Americans.
I agree with the deision to band Will Smith but I also think Chris Rock should be band. ABC said that the comment Chris Rock made about Jada was not in the script, yet Chris took it on himself to morally, mentally and inhumanly demoralize someones medical condition in order to get a laugh. No it doesnt matter whether he knew of her condition or not. He has been in the public life long enough to know all is not what it seems and the fact is, that his career meant more to him than any possible consideration towards Jada. I am so ashame of Chris Rock and he has lose of fan for life. A public apology is due but could never heal the hurt he caused Jada.
