The Jan 6 committee is using their power to bully American citizens who dared to protest an election with numerous irregularities. I do not know if those anomalies would have changed the outcome of the election, but as citizens we have the right to protest and demand answers. And this was a protest not an insurrection as the government and media have worked so hard to label it. It is dangerous, for all Americans, when the government uses thug tactics (like FBI swat teams and jailing people without bail and under horrific conditions) to terrify its citizens. The use of these excessive tactics is meant to intimidate and shut down future protests. That is not America!
