I don’t care about these inspections. I’m done flying on Boeing airplanes.
They blamed pilots and airlines for the crashes in 2019, now they are trying to blame the supplier. But final assembly of the is done by Boeing. They are still playing the same game.
Made in Malaysia? How about being Made in America! American Jobs!!!!!
They fired the people who "knew what to do." Now the execs, who know nothing about engineering quality control have to pay so much more to figure it out again. How's that rushing production working out for them now?

Boeing should have been signing off on the work of its subcontractor, Spirit Aerosystems. They’re just following Boeing’s instructions.
That was just as lightning fast as Boing was doing the INSPECTIONS.

Every airline I've worked for (2 over the past 42 years) sent people to surveil the work, on the Boeing manufacturing floor, taking place on their future aircraft. They had input on the work, how things got documented and would even occasionally not approve certain repairs that Boeing made after test flights. Anything to make a story sound more dramatic.
There is no data that indicates this was a Boeing Problem. The best information available indicates that the event was caused after the plane was delivered to Alaska and then sent to another shop ( Not Boeing) for a WI-FI installation which may have involved removal and reinstallation of the plug door. After the plane returned to service three low cabin pressure alarms were observed and documented. I am sure the NTSB is digging into this.
“Quality control” vs. PROFIT is something that Boeing executives can’t comprehend. You can have one, but NOT both. Boeing will talk the talk for now, but PROFIT will always win out.
The fuselage made by Spirit system for Boeing is in Malaysia?! no wonder quality has gone downhill for cost savings….
Just the usual “everyone is obligated to follow these 9000 quality and safety policies and procedures. And the 9000 new ones added next week. With no extra pay, time or new employees. Btw, do it faster or you’re fired.”

So who will be compensating the airlines for the massive losses in revenue over all these planes being grounded ? Let me guess. The Govt will once again make US taxpayers pay for it ?
