Screw CREE. I called out CEO Chuck Swaboda in 2015 in front of 400 employees for totally ignoring 3rd shift rules for permanent employees. He never held another 'public' meeting after that (at least until I quit) Company pulled in record income and profits for 26 straight quarters. EVERY QUARTER, for 26 quarters. It took me 7 years to accumulate a $2/hr pay raise. They had a two tier pay system, where older legacy employees hired prior to 2008 were pulling down $18-20/hr, everyone after that was started at $12/hr. Once made permanent, you gained some benefits but pay DROPPED 50c/hr. plus 25c shift premium. Swaboda made $120 Million in stock options over that same period of time.
That 3rd shift rule….you stay on nights for no more than 1year, than you're moved to days and daytime 'temps' had to go to nights. It took me 6 years to go to days, while some temps were on days for over 2 years. Happened two weeks after busting his b*lls in front of 400 co-workers and management.
Their best production manager went to prison for possession of 2 ounces of cocaine. That's when we figured out why he had so much energy!! Screw corporate America and corporations in general.

I don’t understand these companies building in New York. Ohio has a vast amount of empty manufacturing space with roads and rail to move products. The steel industry left and nothing moved in. There are so many other places to build! Ohio is not the only place to look at.
