Woman completes Boston Marathon months after coma



Oklahoma resident Rachel Foster ran the Boston Marathon months after a fall put her into a coma for 10 days and left her with 17 broken bones. NBC News’ Peter Alexander shares how the 35-year-old maintained her hope and determination to achieve her goal.

  24. So his wife was fine, he decided “time for a night out, scooter ride!!” She passes out, breaks every bone, and within a WEEK he’s like “yeah no more life support what’s 11 years”

  26. Don’t be so quick to pull the plug.
    I know a few ppl who survived when doctors told them to pull the plug on their loved ones.
    Glad she’s doing well.
