This has happened to me: at the time I was disabled (had a placard too) and asked what I thought was a nice couple who took the very last parking spot on my block if they could move for 5 mins, I’d drop my dog off at home and leave, saving me nearly a mile walk on a foot I just had surgery on. They could circle the block and I’d move for them when they got back. They screamed at me and called me a Karen and threatened my life and my dog grabbing my door handles. The cops refused to do anything because they happen to be black and they got the whole neighborhood on their side saying I demanded they move. I asked. A simple no would be fine. I then told them I’d just block the driveway for a bit but then they were threatening me. Insane. People are so eager to judge based on race alone. Guess disability doesn’t matter.

Old Man Speaking Here: as a young man, even if it was my bike, I would try to find solution. I would check my phone – ask her for her rental – just work it out – show some class (she seems in stress). The quality of mercy is not strained – it droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven. That being said, if that young man was my son, and he was sitting on that bike, and he had not rented it, I would berate him non-stop until he realized he should wear his last name with honor.
I hope she sues all the race baiters on Twitter the boys and the hospital who put her on leave with no proof and lives happily ever after. This is getting ridiculous.
