I understand that Americans are tired, etc. But most of them have no idea what the consequences of the fall of Ukraine will be. We are going back to the times before the First World War. Absolutely no world order, alliance systems falling apart or hanging on the brink, total chaos. Every U.S. ally is watching closely to see what they do. If they let go, they will lose credibility and the beginning of the decline of the US, because without alliances the United States has no chance against China in the future.
