  1. Stop consuming “content” to break the cycle of mediocrity.

  2. Hollywoke. Keep striking writers and actors. An increasing number of people don't miss your productions!

  3. The only point that I agree whole-heartedly with writers/actors on is that residuals based off streaming require the number be transparent.
The point I agree the least with is minimum staffing in writers room. That's ridiculous. If one or two can do the job, then why force ten or 12 to be there? Ironically, that's something guilds worked to prevent centuries ago: flooding local markets with product/personnel.

  4. If you told me my grocery store workers were striking, I would care! I'm sick of Hollywood, and their woke crap keep striking…

  5. Come back to write crap and regurgitate S|-|iT to put on TV

  6. Remember how fast UPS caved to their workers demands? Yea, looks like super hero movies, girl boss movies, and trump bad jokes aren't really integral to the nations economy

  7. WGA – The battle cry of the American Communist Movement – “Workers of the world unite and attack anyone more successful than ourselves” all the while wearing and flying the color of the Communist Revolution, Red. As they use violent disruption with their “No justice No peace” until they get what they want.

"Community" is the battle cry of communists. “Collaborative,” "Equity," “Change,” “Equal Rights,” “Unionize,” “Unity,” “Worker,” “Collective,” "Social justice," “Diversity” and “Worker equity” “solution" are also battle cries and false promises of communists.

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

“The secret of propaganda: Those who are to be persuaded by it should be completely immersed in the ideas of the propaganda, without ever noticing that they are be immersed in it.”

“Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the targets for hatred.”

“Whoever can conquer the streets will one day conquer the state, for every form of power politics and any dictatorship-run state has its roots in the street.”

  8. WGA – Biden's America – Biden Incites communist uprising and meddles into private businesses. Not the job of the President.

  9. I've been translating shows and movies for 20 years and I and others all over the world get no residuals for reruns either…😢

  10. Those lazy dime a dozen "writers" better return with some serious concessions or AMPTP going to walk out on them.

  11. The writers Guild, and SAG are not the only unions in the film industry the biggest union that employs the most people on sets is IATSE the international alliance of theatrical stage employees it’s the crew all the Prop people, the costumers, the craft service food people all the Grip department, the lighting department or electric.
These people don’t even make a quarter as much as the riders let alone the actors.
These people can’t work until this strike is resolved.
These people don’t have the money to sit around and wait for these rich people to negotiate even more money for themselves.

  12. Stand strong studios you are winning!!!

  13. Not noticed a single bit.

  14. The studios would be stupid to offer any more than they did the first time. Keep the strike going, it's more entertaining than any they make. There is only a couple years left in their profession anyway. Get back to school and choose an essential career.

  15. We don't want woke crap we want better shows and movie

  16. Hollyweird.. who cares..

  17. Entitled people wanting more entitlement. These protesters have no sympathy from me

  18. It's not just the film industry that will be impacted by AI. Other industries will be affected as well, so we must learn to coexist with AI because it will undoubtedly make the world a better place. I look forward to being able to create my own films with the help of AI.

  19. If your a writer it’s time you negotiate your compensation NOW, before a deal is struck.

  20. for context the Friends cast makes 20 million dollars annually from their former show, they still receive 20 million dollars every year!

  21. I hope the strikers get their way, but if i was the studios i would have pulled a Ronald Regan

  22. Yawn, shows me how little I miss anything out of hollywood, not seeing 300 super hero movies is a GOOD thing

  23. the rich keeps us poor and distracted. If we UNITE, we will eat the rich. we will eat the politicians next. they are scared of us together – loves it when we're divided by politics, religion and culture.

  24. stay strong writers guild of america! we are all standing with you! we know how "rough" making 100k+ a year must be…. trully, my heart goes out to you

written from my samsung galaxy a20e, from a 1 room rented apartment with no air-conditioner with 35C+/90%+ humidity weather all year 'round, in the worst part of a city in a 3rd world country, making 3000 dollars a year…stay strong, brothers….the "struggle" is real ….friggin' CLOWNS

  25. Blame Joe Biden, tell us how Trump might win

  26. Who cares. All of them are trash writers writing a bunch of bull.

  27. The studio that provides the writers what they want will be in a great position to acquire all the best writers in the business. That studio will produce all the watched shows. The others will be at a distinct disadvantage. Which one is the question now.

  28. So, how are the writers for these 24/7 news channels doing? No one cares about them?

  29. I don't care if the strike never ends.

  30. Part-time work doesn't warrant full-time pay.

  31. AI is going to replace them and since so many of them tout the Progress of Technology, they won't be hard feelings.. time to find a different job

  32. Strikes are always inherently ethical and just.
The company can either choose to pay the union's price, or they can try to replace their workforce overnight.
Power is perfectly balanced and a collective demand for increased compensation is its own justification.

  33. Maybe they should just let ChatGPT draft the negotiation agreement?

  34. Good job writers, waste everyone’s time and lose a bunch of money 😂

  35. One demand should be no more remakes. You’re writers. Write something original. People should be picketing the View because Whoopi is an antisemite and a racist.
