Aaaand nobody cared.😄
Wow, three year contract and UP to 5% raise… lolololol. AI movies will be out after three years!
Old legacy labor unions, like the writers and actors guilds, do nothing for workers in retail, cleaning and homecare.
148 days and my life never noticed…
Good for them. MAKE BETTER MOVIES!!!
NFL football teams must partnership with WGA and SAG AFTRA. Take aim against Artificial intelligence.
Yay !!!!!
Yes, I'm for the WRITERS, but I'm also for the THEATER WORKERS!
Strikers, also mention that theater workers who sell the tickets, get the lowest wages and benefits allowed by law
Musicians join them! Three Labels, the Big Three Labels control music, and no hits, no new stars, loss of sales. 1% of musicians make 90% of streaming money. Look at connections to film. Warner, Universal, Sony.
Have you ever read a story on low wages that mentioned Theater Workers – and by doing so anger Hollywood that brags about how many millions they made this weekend? Me neither. they should. They are forced to work part-time so they're paid the lowest wages and benefits allowed by law. Hollywood looks glamorous but they are just as bad as Walmart or fast food, and the media is scared to talk about it.
Jimmy Kimmel's first show back should be all Trump jokes. More than Trump can handle
Were they on strike
I never noticed
Now that it’s officially over. I can see more projects coming
Now if they can come up with some original stories, they may be worthy of what they got!!
How much is tap water rising by for us peasants?
It is a reticulated deal! It will hurting the economy and companies. Let robots to replace their jobs!
Fantastic. 🎉Now the Actors deal do we stop loosing $.
i forgot that was even happening. not essential
5% AWFUL
BAD DEAL
Studios just bought themselves time. AI will take over in three years.
Writers will have to actually exhibit original thought to be of any value since AI can do variations on a theme way better. I'm prepared, are you?
Most of these people would be better off flipping burgers. I watch TV shows, so I know about these things… 🙃😉
Oh yay, more woke garbage. the film industry is dead in the water. Nothing original just remakes of classics which they turn onto trash.
Wow, they made a huge difference. Didn’t know they were on strike at all and really don’t care.
pathetic losers! yeah whine some more over getting paid 100k+ a year for basically horsing around all day
$230 million? That's like the profit from one blockbuster.
Well that's great. Now they can get back to creating more terrible TV shows. 🤷
who cares 🙄
Maybe the writing will get better!🤷🏽♀️
It's not over. I am a Native American writer who has been prevented from selling his scripts by White Supremacist Elitists skulking in the WGA. I've attempted to join the WGA but instead was given the runaround and looked down on. I want justice!
