100% Aussies have a big edge. they are well settled team with some good time in similar conditions. Plus India is the only team who could drop a no 1 test skilled bowler who recently has great record against Smith. If Smith scores, India losing this too.

Ian Chappell can be so balanced, like a monk, he could just have dismissed India and said, Australia will have to play really badly and probably pick some of its A team players to have to lose to India here and now.. but he practices restraint and says, Australia have an edge but only just.. but it is a surprise that he didn’t call out Green, Smith, Labuschagne and Head as options for Cummins.. maybe because the Aussies didn’t bowl Labuschagne and Smith in the tests in India.. but Labuschagne could well dismiss Kohli in this test.. that is if Kohli doesn’t get snaffled by Boland first.. Labuschagne looks set to win this for Australia with a big double

With above combination, you get batting depth till No.8 and get 4 pacers and 2 spinners. I can't see a better combination than this. Plus the advantage, that Australians haven't played Unadkat before and he is a left arm seamer is good prospect to unleash, much better than tried and tested Umesh and Ashwin who are no surprise to Australia and their overseas record is pretty average.
