  1. To create a bar to reach this is the same reason the Navy has Bud training. To weed out those who can't make it. Also brings back some rigor to college. There is a saturation of colleges that are all over the place and degree's are becoming less valued unless you are an ivy league that needs to protect that.

  2. grades can be fudged more easily

  3. least 350,000 chronic patients, 60,000 pregnant women, and about 700,000 children in Gaza are exposed to serious health complications as a result of malnutrition, dehydration, and lack of medical facilities, according to the enclave’s health ministry.

  4. Removing the standardized test allowed people not prepared for the course work in the door, they tried but after a few years had to drop out and of course were left with student loans. The system used to be setup to protect people from getting into this mess but greed has allowed this to happen. Of course people of color are disproportionality affected.

  5. I don't enjoy taking these tests just as much as the next person, but I despise unfairness even more. Now we just need to do away with legacy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡

  6. #DEI backfire πŸ˜†πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

  7. Imagine not having a standard for who becomes a surgeon.

  8. Get decent grades in college and learn social skills. Interview well

  9. It’s too late!
You’ve already let too many idiots through the doors.
RE-TEST those who got a free pass.

  10. No, you are only a grade, till you graduate get a job and pay your own way through life. Then you have a life with value, till then your a deficit to someone and your grade is all they have to go by to see if their getting what their paying for. And they haven’t been for yrs.

  11. I knew a guy in high school, he had a .4 GPA I think he was second to last in the class, still got into Kansas State University. Granted his whole family did go there.

  12. All the radical leftist plans have failed. Their experiment has lowered the value of college degrees to the point they are meaningless except for STEM. As a result we have fallen behind the world in educational standards. Go woke, go broke.

  13. Money talks for these Ivy League universities. πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’΅πŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ

  14. Common sense.
I was shocked to see so many students struggling academically because they could not read and write on a collegiate level.

  15. Isn't it racist and sexist to have standardized testing? πŸ€”

  16. That will sort them out the really intelligent and the others !

  17. Excellent! Finally some accountability for this generation. It's time they are taught that not everyone gets a trophy and you have to earn your way to what you want.

  18. standardized tests are racist. so is reading and math.

  19. How about no free rides for any race.

  20. Turns out dieversity wasn’t strength

  21. Yale holds no value or respect in my eyes

  22. maybe we could A) acknowledge that even though they try really hard not to be labeled as such, tests like the SAT and the ACT are essentially IQ tests, and B) use IQ tests that aren't loaded on cultural differences or educational attainment, like the Raven's Progressive Matrices. Then we could capture people regardless of socioeconomic status that have the cognitive ability. Unfortunately the companies that create and administer the SAT/ACT have too much influence and the purpose isn't being truly meritocratic.

  23. Diversity fail… surprise!

  24. How about you let in all applicants with the agreement that if you fail you get deported to China. Let's see how many people apply now.

  25. Kids are stupid because of the left.

  26. "Family income greatly impacts test performance"

Might as well make admissions GPA-optional then…

  27. Provide better education to student of all background . After that there shouldn't be any differential treatment in any context whether it's rich, poor, black white in progression or college.

  28. oh nooo admission based on how well you study?! that's racist!!!

  29. Overturn Griggs v. Duke Energy and end this accreditation scam.

  30. what an innovative idea, truly groundbreaking stuff

  31. students getting in there probably been preparing since they were kids. imagine getting in of what it would be like for someone that really not really prepared of what to expect. I think I'll skip rather stick to small class room & get to know the teacher better to be wiser

  32. They tried allowing students in without looking at test scores for a few years, graduation rates PLUMMETED. It is time to have a standard at these universities. There is always a college, even if it is local, that will accept and aide students who need it.
