my dog isn’t a hero but he was a good dog my dog was on the road while I was outside they like go across the road and that time it was my male dog named nano I head a yelp and my dad heard tires screech I thought it was the female dog named taffy but no it was him he wasn’t crushed or had any marks he was most likely killed by the car because it may have ran over his neck

the dog attacked the snake got beaten and a died ! dog was not the hero, the snake was the victim! the snake was there didn't do anything, rattle snakes not only don't actively attack human or large animals, they are ambush hunters for rats and they rattles to scare away potential attackers they don't just bite first. the dog did what it shouldn't have done and paid the price but he attracted the snake first and the snake self defended itself ! and NBC news made it as if a dog was the hero and make it as a news ? NBC news..I didn't know you go lower !

I guess though with climate rattlesnakes are more comfortable in the Florida area, and they do become more aggressive, and may become a singled evasive species. They are not the type to search for food, they are strikers.
