In 1994, the Budapest Agreement was signed, according to which Ukraine, at the suggestion of the West, renouned nuclear weapons and heavy bombers. And the West, represented by the United States and Great Britain, acted as the guarantor of its territorial integrity, promised support in the event of an attack on Ukraine. Refusal of nuclear weapons effectively left Ukraine vulnerable against Russian aggression.
In 2014, Russia annexed the Ukrainian Crimea and part of Donbass, and in 2022 it is attacking Ukraine, bombing its cities and villages, killing Ukrainians.
And now the West does not want to give Ukraine enough necessary weapons, although basically these weapons are not new, they are being replaced with more modern ones.
Zelensky has already lost this War… the land in The Donbass Region was already annexed late last year. This is just about money now – and how much more they can keep stealing from the American Taxpayer 🤑💰
The majority of us don't want our money spent promoting death and destruction in foreign wars, proxies like Ukraine particularly. Face facts. 😐

Biden administration and Ukraine have different goals: Ukraine wants to go back to 1991 at any cost, while Biden just wanted Russian army to bleed without WW3. If Ukraine somehow pulled it off and won enough battles to dictate terms at the negotiation table great. If not, and they basically are in the same spot as a year ago (but Russia has lost tons of tanks and men) also great. Either way great (for the US).
That's why Zelensky didn't even speak tonight: Biden and Austin were explaining this to him—-with extreme prejudice.
