1) I am not Russian
2) I look at Zelensky here and it is clear he is not stable
3) Putin at times does also not look stable
4) As it stands Zelenskly it is not in your control where Crimea will be in 10 years time. But as it stands you can only take this back with Western backing
5) The western populations particularly in Europe are beginning to turn against this war
6) Zelensky, Europe and indeed USA populations cannot afford a long protracted conflict with principle energy suppliers of the world, you need to look for peace and if this is territory so be it!
7) The conflict is not black and white, good vs bad. All parties bare some responsibility, including the West.
US funding to Crimea would be over reaching' in the Sense that whe're deterring & helping reclaim eastern lands. Crimea thier in is lost land ignored by the west over previous conflict. Crimea was in the Russian Empire for hundrends of years and was gifted to Ukraine for nothing, the ethnic population in Crimea mostly Russian so it never was Ukranian and never will be just like Donbass where 90% are Russians

My current understanding of this conflict is that more than half of the fighting men of Ukraine are now dead or out of action. 70% of the weapons that are have sent disappeared and apparently Billions more worth of weapons are on the way. I wonder who is going to end up using these weapons and on who.
