I believed heard when she came out the courtroom, I believed her more after the trial in the UK, despite being a Johnny fan since I was 4. Didn't go and see the new FB movie because I believed her. But I watched the trial as Pro Amber and after the trial, I like the jury believed Johnny was the victim.
I honestly believed Amber Heard when the abuse claims first started. I didn't follow the story at the time, so I held the idea that JD was abusive. Now after watching the trial it's very obvious this man was a victim the whole time. NBC won't ever see another cent from me!
We watched this trial! Why are you waging war against social media and attempting to subdue the very real and relevant reactions to this trial and the evidence presented? Instead of examining the myriad of angles that would bring forth very real discussions about false accusations in the wake of Me Too, male domestic violence victims, the value of social media and the internet in a high profile case, bringing justice to someone who ironically had BEEN victimized during Me Too because of the fear of not believing females, or even the insanely intriguing way in which the world crowdsourced evidence, information, and skills (law, woodworking, PR, metadata, bruising, make-up pallets), y'all went full-force into an ego-driven war against anything NOT mainstream media to dig your heels in and try and spin this. It's like a warped version of the sunk cost fallacy where instead of just admitting you made an error, you keep doubling down to try and win in some capacity. Embarrassing – but we all can see it.

There was a time I respected NBC. The trial clearly was not watched by the producers prior to this propaganda piece, and the bias oozes. Ms Heard weaponized and monetized the current cultural #metoo movement. Ms Heard does not represent women in general, and more specifically, she does not represent battered women. She represents a woman very used to getting her way on looks alone. Amber is a stunningly beautiful woman. Her “inside”, however, needs serious attention. The jury did not need social media to influence their decision. It was crystal clear to anyone who watched Ms Heard testify that she lied under oath and concocted stories that very often didn’t make sense no matter where you sat. To think the jury would have come to a different conclusion if social media did not exist is ludicrous.

I like movies that JD has been in, but I wouldn't call myself a huge fan by any means. I went into the trial unbiased and ready to listen to facts and evidence. I don’t even have TIKTOK, but I did watch the whole trial. The people don’t care how famous you are when it comes to right & wrong. Ppl loved R Kelly, but no one is saying he didn’t do what he’s accused of regardless of his fame. Amber was caught lying multiple times & her tone of voice changed depending which party was asking questions. The pictures provided didn’t match the stories she gave.

Cancelled my Peacock. Stopped watching NBC news and Today. I am sick over giving up Hoda, Ryan and Kelly Ripa but I can't trust NBC. Like the fool I was, I believed media portrayal of Johnny Depp being an abuser. I happened to watch day 6 of the trail by accident, and was shocked by the evidence. I then went back and watched it from the beginning. Obviously NBC did not. This Docu – opinion piece is an insult to any thinking person. I've watched this documentary, just for see how low can NBC go for making up this narrative of men cannot be victim of DV. When you make your own Breaking News Journalist act like "wow, the results are in", first of all, she looks like she's late for the news. Just sad that a news organization is delivering such biased and manipulated information. Seeing how the media has covered this trail has completely dismantled my trust in the mainstream media. I watched the trial from start to finish. I am no fan of anyone and am not engulfed in social media. Some people like to be informed and can think critically & objectively. You are so moved by your narrative that you can’t accept a real victim won. You don’t think people of any gender can be victims? Its clear by the evidence, that justice was served.
