The Rubik’s Cube looks like a simple kids’ toy, but anyone who’s tried to line up the block’s colors knows how challenging it is. For experts, the current record is about three and a half seconds to solve it. But a new algorithm leaves even those record-holding Rubik’s Cubers in the dust.

  1. It's not an algorithm it's a machine. I'm not trying to be that annoying person who corrects people but that is a misleading title since an algorithm on a cube is just a series of notations such as R U R' U' which is pronounced (R U R prime U prime.) Any real cubers know that.
