NASA released a full batch of images and data from the massive James Webb Space Telescope that provides a first look at cosmic mysteries yet to be untangled. NBC News’ Tom Llamas is joined by America’s top astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson to analyze what these images mean for the future of space exploration.

Yep, most important pictures science has produced, let's give it five minutes so we can get back to the "news".
Sorry to tell you but he’s far from one of the worlds top astrophysicist.
This feels like Sportscenter but about space
I saw the PBS Nova special on the telescope. They started the project in 2007. They explain what it took to get this telescope made and launch. It's a MUST SEE!!!
and thats why nobody listens to the news and they listen to joe rogan "ok 10 seconds" lol
If "planetary nebulae" is the incorrect terminology because of an historic error, why not rename them to "stellar nebulae"?
If they see a bird in space RUN DO NOT LOOK BACK JUST RUN
We need 5 hours of Niel talking about this one hour for each photo please
WHY DOESNT THIS MAN HAVE MORE TIME??!!! WHY DOESNT SCIENCE HAVE MORE TIME?!
Kinda like the history channel.
Pathetic how rushed this was
That means those guys in those planets are seeing earth in the past
This is too short and rushed, I want more.
come on NBC Sir Neil deserve more air time
Way to short
Stop interrupting Neil. 😳 Let him speak!
There was a spiral Galaxy on the right side of the Deep Field photo of the galactic cluster 4.6 billion years ago that looked like we depict the Milky Way. Assuming the Milky Way, actually looks like this, I wonder whether it would be possible to photograph our galaxy as it was at the time of the Earth’s formation? It would consistent with a Penrose diagram because we would can looking back into our past light cone but there is a barrier we can’t penetrate to influence it.
Way too short.
This was extremely awkward.
Let the scientists talk longer…
can we find big bang photo in this decade with james webb ???
That man said stupifyingly lol lol lol
Not fair NBC this deserves 15-20 or just Neil explaining this images
There are other frequencies that travel thru space
Fascinating!
He is so freaking smart!I lwould ove to attend one of his lectures.
A grain of sand held at arms length, is what this image represents, is one of the best analogies of just how insignificant the place we live our lives on, is, thank you.
It's no better than the Hubble Deep Field image (that I can see) that was taken in 1995, https://stsci-opo.org/STScI-01EVVKN43WKPQ3WSV9Y9887M47.jpg so pull out the stops, justify it's price tag and blow my doors off with something unbelievable.
I could listen to Neil DeGrasse all day long. He is excited and passionate, it is really contagious. These are not pictures by a telescope, these are achievements by humankind for science.
There is 0% chance we are alone in the universe
Very interesting and Tyson explains it all in simple terms that I can understand.
Much, much better than those NASA takes on Youtube, where you have to wade through the first 20 minutes of Science Nerds talking over each other, explaining nothing.
