Its the type of homemade fishing boat all over those islands, not seaworthy for crossing the open ocean ,
same in europe, they are dying trying to cross in overloaded boats, or run out of fuel with few knowing how to swim
Drowning to death is horrific as it is already especially at night in the water I can only imagine what the screams were like. It's sad because they really could have started something new in America. I think as Americans we are way to ungrateful and the fact that these people would risk that to come to this crap just shows how bad there country is failing.
