Believe it or not the 5 officers were actually white. What we saw on the video was 5 white officers beating on this guy , not black.
I can’t believe the Black Community wont stand up and protect the Black Officers. What if it was Black Officers accused of killing a White Person. So sad, I chose not to watch the body cam video because the stations capitalize on trauma porn of black bodies. I was not surprised that all the officers involved in violence towards Tyre are Black because the police system is a result of the influence of white supremacy. The influence of the same white supremacy employed both Black and White Slave catchers to track down and return escaped slaves. In fact, the police system was established after the end of slavery in the U.S. to enforce Jim Crow laws aimed at maintaining a racial caste system, but I digress.

As a middle class white, if a traffic officer was even slightly rude to me, I'd complain to City Hall, and the officer would be reprimanded. I'd receive letters of apology from the police chief and the mayor.
