If General Austin is such a great military leader, then why did he allow, as Vice-Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 2012, the commencement of the Department of Defense's 8-year campaign of perjury and obstruction of justice against my age-discrimination lawsuit? I sued the DOD after Vice-Admiral Anne Rondeau terminated me without cause when I was an associate professor at National Defense University, and immediately hired much younger graduate students to teach my courses. Check out the Appeals Court decision in Steele vs. Mattis if you want to see the extent of that obstruction. A senior military leader with integrity would have demanded completely honest sworn testimony from the leadership of National Defense University, however embarrassing it may have been for Admiral Rondeau.

This country’s obsession with race is so tiresome. I can’t wait for the day we’re literally will not matter what race somebody is when they are nominated to one of these positions. I want for The most important thing to be competence and qualification. Race, background, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender and all that kind of stuff should be the last thing looked at when choosing somebody for this role.
