Infrared radiation can cause melanocyte pigments in the skin, you know those brown spots all over your body, and can cause serious eye damage if you look at the sun but it can't cause sunburn. I'm sure Bill knows he misspoke but his brain thinks faster than he talks. I do it, you do it, we all do it.

Why would Bill put a spiritual spin on it? He's an atheist. That won't stop religious people from claiming the photos are either proof of god or a complete hoax. That bugs me, I don't care if they want to believe in a god but the ones who come to these videos to preach in the comments, this isn't a church, Bill doesn't show up at your church and teach science, don't go on science videos and preach religion, show at least the same respect towards science as scientists show your holy houses.
