Anthony Blinken is weak asking for a lopsided deal of Viktor Bout, an international Marxist revolutionary arms dealer during the Cold War, for Whelan and Griner. If Blinken was sharp, he would ask for Edward Snowden, Paul Whelan, Marc Fogel and Britney Griner in exchange for Bout. It won't happen though, because Biden administration is playing a racial politics game in this exchange.

The administration is making a huge mistake including Bout in the deal in any way . He'll be back in business quickly courtesy of the U.S. and the trade will most likely come back to haunt us in the future. There has to be other options without him in the deal.
