How about cut all the stupid excess foriegn spending like gender studies classes for Arab nations. All the unnecessary spending on rediculos social experiment studies grants. Cur faucis inhuman pain studies ect. Just some examples that would seriously reduce the tax burden and make a balanced budget possible without taking away from American Citizens

Assets test welfare and remove time limits to pay to working asset poor to encourage work. Not income tested unemployed, disabled or aged welfare that went to asset rich not to work only. Have a 36% tariff on all conversion of US$ to foreign currency in USA and all taking of US$ out of USA and require all proceeds of exports pay into US$ in USA.

Well for beginners, they can dismantle all of these Departments and Committees that truly are not needed. In other words, less Government.
The problem with cutting "benefits" in return for lower taxes is that Social Security Retirement, Social Security Disability (SSDI not SSI) and Vet's are always the ones on the chopping block after these people worked/served our country and paid into the system out of every dollar they earned. You never hear there will be a reduction in welfare benefits, refugee benefits, TPS benefits when in reality people who collect benefits through social services often make more in the monetary value of their package than those who worked and or served this country but are denied any additional assistance even food.
