Ballooning auto payments are making vehicles increasingly unaffordable. For the first time ever, the average price for a new vehicle topped $48,000 in June. That’s nearly a 13 percent increase from last year, according to industry reports. Now, more drivers than ever are spending at least $1,000 on their monthly car payments, which will go up even more if the Fed raises interest rates again.

Price gouging record profits "Inflation"
Thanks allot sir you’re 👆👆so good and trustworthy😇😄
Thanks allot sir you’re 👆👆so good and trustworthy😇😄
And check out the price of skyrockets.
I guess in the very near future, people might need to invest in a horse, it only required food. And want need to worry about high price of a car.
Idiots keep feeding the Greed Machine. If everyone stopped buying Gas, the price would divebomb overnight, if people stopped voting, the Governmental corruption would be beyond obvious to everyone and things would change. Too many Sheep.
Lol well what do u expect when people vote for inflation
One more disaster Americans have to put up with. The country is such a disaster.
Global warming? Nope- just Joe Biden's America…
Everything is going up not only cars and wages are staying the same smh ,United States is heading into a pit ,
You have to realize that car dealerships are "The" Scalpers, they buy everything up at then sell at $10k, $20k, $50k over MSRP they're a monopoly and no one can stop them. The end 👌
When I think of a car dealerships I think of scammers, liars, thieves, con man, Dealerships are worse than lawyers 👌
Self inflicted artificial shortages, no problem they have those, unlimited made up excuses, check✓
And normal prices are not coming back because this new Scalping formula is making the dealers too much money 👍
You will have nothing and you will be happy 😆
I don't think The auto Industry should be allowed to Make New Cars Till they Give Answers as to what their doing With the Millions of New cars in The Car Graveyard s Just a thought ??
Don't worry people, the wealth will trickle down soon…any minute now…very soon…we promise, this idea works…just hang in there…
You can eat a lot for $1,000 per month. The car industrydealers are still using the same excuses to extract high prices but the responsibility lies with the buyers. There are alternatives; plenty of good used cars under $10k if all you want to do is get from A to B.
I still drive my 96 V6 Toyota Camry I had for 7 years now with no issues
This MUST be in the United States. Willingly paying too much for vehicles only encourages the sellers to do it more. Americans need better education to battle stupidity.
I'd rather just ride a bike to work, cars seem like a waste of money unless you absolutely need it.
I spend about 1,000 dollars every three months to fix my 2008 Nissan Rogue. Cheaper than buying a new or used car.
I don't have a car anymore. I save 2k a month and have more freedom that I have ever had. I did keep my rock-buggy but that is for trails.
only pendejos pay top dollar for a used car.
Glad i got my EV April 2021. Right before the prices went up.
This is the Great Reset. Isn't it great?
Don't buy a car if you can take public transportation!
But car repos are skyrocketing. So why can’t you just get a repo car for way cheaper. Banks would hate to lose money on cars.
It's rip off. They're price gouging. Then here comes Chinese cars, you know, that gave us covid ( Wuhan ).
Nope just greedy dealerships
Wait til after the new year…they will beg to get rid of the old model
Breaking News: Executive says “Double Whammy.”
Can't believe how better everything's gotten since Biden got elected
Who cares, just pay the extra, not a big deal, work harder.
Buying electric to save money on fuel is an oxymoron.
We should stop buying !! Bet prices would go down . It's not like the auto industry along with the airlines won't be pleading for yet another bail out in the fall!!
Not for long. The auto loan default rates have skyrocketed and so too have repossessions. The car market is starting to crash.
On top of it all, it makes the least sense of all time to buy used cars, which are in many cases more expensive than their new counterpart.
I have a spare car, 2003 Honda civic si 177k mileage without modification or accident. I used to get offers in parking lot for $5k or $6k (before covid). I was told I could sell it on offerup for over $10k.
Good time to be a mechanic I guess. People will be getting stuff fixed instead of buying new Lolo
US average income is $53k.
Folks are hanging on to what they have. No one I know or seen at the big semiconductor plant I work has bought a new car.
OR, don't buy a car unless you need one.
Yeah everyone look to downsize your car and every other aspect of standard of living under Biden.
I have a 2006 Toyota Camry and rolling until the wheels fall off.
Thank the democrats for higher prices.
I drive a 2011 mercedes I was going trade it in 2019 for a 2017 mercedes model but didnt 3 years later is 2022 and went back to trade it and same 2017 model still cost the same it did 3 years ago screw them Im fixing my 2011 and keep it until they come down to earth🤦🏻♂️
I'll be alright with a 90s Honda or Toyota send em my way lol

What more do u expect when SO-ROS IS FUNDING EV VEHICLES AND FAILING (might I add ) …
Full of shiaaat NBC
That's not what I'm hearing with this recession coming. Bypass all of this nonsense and go straight to the auction.
Well we knew this was coming because of ev vehicles .. smh we told u mfers
