Guys…… if you have spare unused water bottles consider leaving them out for postal workers with a sign saying free water if you need it….
YEAH NO AC FOR THE MUTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY.
UPS= WE DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT OUR DRIVER'S. THERE ARE SO MANY OF YOU POOR BROKE SAPS THAT OF OUR DRIVER'S DIE. THEY WILL BE REPLACED NO PROBLEM.
Shame on ups!
The way UPS brushed this off is very sketchy. It would appear they have no care that he collapsed wow smh
How does UPS train their employees for the heat? Do they put them in a sauna for hours on end?
Just FYI — if you know you are getting packages delivered and it's hot that day….. leave some ice water or gatorade out for TRASH AND DELIVERY DRIVERS. People always talk about wishing they could help, it truly does not take much and it goes a long way. And on the other end, during cold weather leave some coffee or hot chocolate. Doing good deeds is far better than talking about them. And do not expect these companies to do anything. They do not care because they are "trained to suffer extreme conditions" or they get canned.
Omg.Put air condition in those darn truck.INHUMANE.
UPS should have A/C in those trucks!!!!
What about me ??? I have to climb stairs with heavy furniture up to the 4 floor sometime with no elevators as mover and driver loading and unloading merchandise on this heat Lord mercy
probably over worked and under paid
No job is worth dying for.
No job is worth dying for.
Ups needs to fire whomever wrote that response. So tone deaf
That was 'hurtful' to see, I know how it feels!
Arid-zona is a brutal environment. I hope he doesn't make the same mistake twice.
You know the same. Can't stand the heat get out the kitchen. McDonald's is air conditioned.
Serious.. how come no one talking about AC in there trucks.. none… multi million company and no AC.. cut it out
How do they train their Drivers for hot weather….?
Does the training involve long hours in a Sauna…..??
ONE 25 YEAR OLD DRIVER IN LOS ANGELES JUST DIED.. THEIR VEHICLE HAS NO AC AND BOX AREA GETS HOTTER… COME ON CEOs CUT YOUR SALARIES GET AC IN THE FRONT AT LEAST
Good thing he didn't pass out while driving. Sooner or later, some one is going to get seriously hurt.
I can’t believe UPS actually said that
Cancel UPS. Fed Ex Has Air Conditioning and is Always on Time. Maybe UPS Would Be on Time IF Their Workers Had AIR CONDITIONING.
Yea, they are trained to work outdoors all right. Is there a sticker in the truck reminding them to hydrate?
That white UPS driver had strong work ethics for sure.
