“It’s like a snake in the grass. You sort of see the grass moving but you can’t quite tell what it is and you don’t want to admit it because it’s too painful,” Dr. Oz shared of his mother’s diagnosis. Some early warning signs include difficulty completing tasks and problems with words.

  3. I empathize with Dr. Oz and his mama. Alzheimer's is such a nasty disease. My dad had it for 10 years and passed away 2.5 months ago. Trust me when I say that educating yourself on it is very important for the patient and you. The Alzheimer's Association was instrumental in helping us with dad. If you are a caregiver, please remember that you have to take care of yourself or you'll be no good in caring for your loved one.
