Cathie Wood lost her investors billions
We are currently in the jaws of the worst bear markets I have seen, the average stock has been cut in half, and the only way to make money this year has been to either short or to trade long in very short time frames. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my dipping $117k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
I just bought more of these NVIDIA stock a few minutes ago. Tying up money due to an apocalyptic stock market crash is also not a smart move my advice will be to invest in other AI stocks. Life is a risk and it's better to take risks than to do nothing, you can't always expect to make huge profits all the time, people have so many opinions about a recession/depression. In just 5 months my portfolio grew by $300,000 in gross profit, the main thing is to expand your portfolio and you will see amazing results by investing smartly.
SHE SOLD HER NVIDA IN JANUARY! Wood doesn't understand $NVDA is manifesting Ai. It's not a "let's look at who else can benefit in the space" moment. Aside from $AMD no one has the GPU inventory to meet demand this year. Forward revenue guidance for Q2 is $11B for vs $7.5B this quarter. This is not a hardcore business network when Cathie Wood is the NVDA authority.
I have seen nothing from this woman that impresses me. She has made some doozies for mistakes.
She thinks DGX is a competitor to Nvidia when, in fact, it's just the name that Nvidia has given to one of its product lines.
Nvidia is wildly overpriced. It's clearly a leader AI acceleration hardware but it's priced as if every computer user is going to train large Neural Networks. Which is simply not true. The reality is that most people will interact with AI through other software like Photoshop or Excel. Pre-trained Deep Neural Networks will be embedded in other software. Nvidia acceleration hardware is useful for training large Neural Networks because it allows certain processes during the forward pass to be performed in parallel. But very few people will ever train a neural network. When using already trained Neural Networks, the intelligent agent is performing "inference" or thinking…. And most Neural Networks won't require acceleration hardware to "think". Thinking / inference is not CPU intensive and doesn't benefit (much) from parallel processing. Training benefits greatly from Nvidia hardware, but thinking / inference not so much. Nvidia is a great company with a solid future but the stock is clearly in a speculative bubble. People buying today will have to hold for years to reach breakeven.
She is full of B.S. ARK sold most of its Nvidia shares BEFORE the big run up….
