New files show leaked by investigative journalists allege that Uber illegally used technology and lobbying tactics to expand the company from 2013 to 2017. Former CEO Travis Kalanick led the company before accepting a resignation request from shareholders in 2017 due to a string of scandals.

All the deductions from the earnings were services the company was making the drivers pay for were ridiculous…
Told them directly their program was horribly flawed and they dropped me like a hot potato by terminating my driving privileges saying driver complaints made my rating dip below their required ratings…all of which was a pile of horse manure…
and i will never use them or trust them ever again…
Enter Amazon into the business and all of sudden there are lawsuits….

I’ve done over 12,000 rides as a rideshare driver. I can testify there is no business model on earth that needs regulation more stringent and more quickly than the rideshare industry. The level of exploitation and manipulation that happens to drivers is absolutely staggering.

It's believable. Any company that supports the kind of "social justice" movements that Uber does is lacking in integrity, and can therefore be expected to be untrustworthy.

Wait wait wait… you’re telling me a company did something ILLEGAL?!? This is SHOCKING information. And nothing happens to them for doing something illegal?!? SHOCKING.
This is old news. It came out a year or more ago that they were using their software to operate in cities where they weren't legal, and somehow programmed the software to detect inspectors and avoid them.
