  1. I haven’t been following this story. Was there any warnings to evacuate prior? Did they have a emergency plan?

  2. It's only a matter of time before gangs of looters and militias start fighting for resources.

  3. I say the government and people should knock every thing down scrap it all and rebuild as a whole .burn the city down if they have to .idk anything about the water going back down

  4. "Let Us All Pray and Work" by Theodore Alexander Vegh, B.S.

  5. Extremely depressing 🙏🏾

  6. Why build with wood in an area at risk from hurricanes? Why not cement?

  7. This is so sad and devastating! Imagine just seeing you’re home get destroyed into millions of pieces 😭 I feel so bad for everyone there 😢 🙏

  8. Horrifying, the footage is reminiscent of the destruction photos of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of WW2. One's heart has to go out to the thousands of victims of this devastating natural disaster.

  9. Travel agencies should sell working vacations to people to go down and help

  10. So America best get to work so the elite can have their golf courses back!?

  11. THE CLINTON FOUNDATION IS ON ITS WAY TO HELP !

  13. I´m shocked. If this pictures were black&white you might think this is Hiroshima or Nagasaki…

  14. Should people rebuild or leave the island knowing it could happen every year?

  15. They might as well pack up over there and call it quits… sea level rise will flood all these areas before the investment in rebuilding them would be fully recovered.

  16. My condolences to the Families
Call RiriI'm sure she will donate a hefty Check

  17. Thanks for the video, those awake know the meaning! Glory to God!

  18. The light bulbs getting dim.

  19. This is what climate change looks like. The sooner people stop denying and do something, the less people will die

  24. Hey BIG ED HERE STILL ON MY WIFE'S TABLET

    BUT IVE NEVER BEEN
    THROUGH ANYTHING
    LIKE THIS.
WHERE AM I GOING TO SLEEP
CAN I FIND FOOD DRINKING WATER.

    ITS HEARTBREAKING TO KNOW
    SOOOO MANY PEOPLE THERE

  25. Big but not the biggest to hit the Bahamas.

  26. The next hurricane needs to destroy Mar a lago

  27. Build a big house with wood or build a smaller home with concrete. Hmmm…… The instant you see the pitched roofs like in North America but in the Caribbean you can suspend all
empathy. Why would any sane person build with wood in the Caribbean? Oh, We bought insurance! Great but you have to endure this chaos, was it worth it? I saw this same phenomena as a small child, my old man told a bunch of contractors they were fools for building in the flood plain. The city let them build anyway, people bought and lived the homes and sure as daylight it flooded and wiped out all the homes. Dumber than bricks.
You cant feel sorry for a person whom runs off the cliff on purpose.
Caribbean + Concrete = Hurricane proof house. Caribbean + wood = destruction on massive scale. Cannot make it any more true or simple.

  28. They should of bombed the hurricane to stop it.

  29. OMG this is sooo 😥 God give every last person there strength and Blessings to get through this.

  30. Should the USA help? If so how would the help be funded?

  31. 😂🤣. It was done on purpose.

  32. this is hard to fully comprehend for me. and very sobering. I pray u keep strong, and that you will quickly recover from this if you can. xx

  33. Imagine being stuck on your roof, and a helicopter just flies by and videotapes you.
